The latest developments regarding Rubber stoppers are often used in the medical and scientific communities to keep the various liquid substances intact. These are useful tools to make the glass tubes air tight and spill free. Besides this, these tools are used for various other purposes too. For example, glass artists use them for blowing glass on a table-top torch properly or one can even go creative with it by making it use as a hummingbird feeder. No matter how one uses the rubber stoppers and glass tubes, but the whole deal is about using these tools safely.

Here's a step by step procedure to place glass tubing in a rubber stopper

Step 1
Before dwelling the glass tube into the rubber, closely check its end for any sharp edges. In case you come across a rough spot, use a sandpaper gently to buff off such spots and avoid the cutting of rubber.

Step 2
Now don a pair of rubber gloves to have a tight grip on the glass tube. Gloves act as protective layers in case of any breakage or crush.

Step 3
Next, you need to wet the end of the tube which is going into the stopper. It is done because the water avoids any kind unnecessary friction hence making it easier for the glass to slide within the rubber.

Step 4
Finally, push the glass tube within the rubber hole by holding the stopper firmly in your hand. Wiggle and push the tube until the end successfully protrudes out from the back of the stopper, and well you are done!
