Rubber Products in the Printing & Paper Industry
Like all other industries, rubber products are also used widely in the
printing & paper industry. Rubber Rollers are the essential rubber
product used in this industry. Rubber covered rollers are made up of
three parts: a metal core, a rubber bonding adhesive which is applied to
the core, and also a rubber cover. The largest market for these rubber
rollers is the graphic arts and printing industry. This industry uses
rollers in printing presses to pass the ink onto the printing plate.
Other applications include paper-making, plastic film production,
printing, steel fabricating, manufacturing of textiles, metal coating,
leather processing and so on. In the paper industry, the rubber rollers
are used to squeeze water out of newly formed paper web, which
