Tips to Get Rid of the Rubbery Smell of Gloves
Rubber gloves are indeed very useful to safeguard the hands from dust, dirt or other skin irritant things and hence, is used extensively while cleaning, painting or doing other household chores. The only problem with rubber gloves is the smell of rubber which tends to linger on hours after the gloves have been removed. Thus, presenting here are few tips which can help you get rid of the nagging smell with little attention:

Scented Gloves
Now-a-days scented gloves are available in the market which can swap the rubber smell with a fresh and different fragrance. Such gloves eliminate the rubber smell to a great extent and what's more, by the time you are through with your work you are left with sweetly scented palms!

Latex Free Gloves
Since latex is the key substance which makes the rubber gloves smell awful, it is better to use latex free gloves as the gloves with latex free properties are more skin friendly and odorless.

Apply lotion
It is always wise to apply a moisturizing lotion on hands before putting on the gloves. Though this trick can not be applied to cotton or foam lined gloves but nevertheless, its a great way to eliminate the rubbery smell in unlined gloves.

Baking Soda
Baking soda is another good option to get rid of the rubbery smell. Sprinkle a bit of baking soda within the gloves before putting them on. This would not only help in curbing the smell of rubber but would also help in slipping the gloves on and off quite easily.
